The Morgan County Office on Aging & Senior Center
The Morgan County Office on Aging & Senior Center exists to provide programs and services for senior citizens (age 60 and older) of Morgan County with an emphasis being placed on serving economically and/or socially disadvantaged seniors to improve their quality of life.
The office and center offer many programs and services to Morgan County seniors to support and enhance the quality of their daily lives. Homemaking services, such as light housekeeping, local and medical transportation, as well as supportive services that include educational programs, income tax service, and H.E.A.P. application assistance are available.
Each month the Morgan County Senior Center prints a calendar of events and trips available for pickup at the center in McConnelsville located at 10 W. Main St., McConnelsville, OH 43756.
Homemaking Services
Light housekeeping for seniors who are in need. Call for assistance.
Supportive Services
- Educational programs, Golden Buckeye Card application assistance, legal assistance, billing assistance, free health fairs, free income tax service, blood pressure checks, H.E.A.P. application assistance.
- Activities such as BINGO, luncheons, Senior Club, and occasional outings.
- Event calendars are printed monthly and available for pick-up at the Senior Center in McConnelsville.
Transportation Services
- Local Transportation – Must call ahead to schedule.
- Medical Transportation – Must call ahead to schedule. One-on-one, hands-on assistance and can be local or out of town.
All services provided by the Morgan County Office on Aging and Senior Center are by donation only and for seniors 60 years of age or older, unless otherwise specified.
