The Morgan County Economic Development Office is committed to making sure the residents of Morgan County have access to fair housing information, including legal services for anyone who feels they have been discriminated against.

Fair housing refers to those laws and regulations that prohibit discrimination in any activity relating to the sale or rental of housing, in the availability of financing or other related transactions, or in the provision of housing-related services.

It ensures the accessibility of all forms of available housing to all people regardless of certain racial, cultural, or physical factors.

MORGAN COUNTY HOME SEWAGE TREATMENT PROGRAM

Morgan County, through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), can offer individual property owners assistance to repair or replace failing home sewage treatment systems (HSTS), also known as lot systems or septic systems.

Homeowners can use funds for existing systems to repair, replace, or for lateral connections. Homeowners can qualify for up to 100 percent per household based on income guidelines.
